Na omre`ju je mogo~e dobiti ogromno stvari. Glavno vpra{anje je, kako dobiti tisto kar bi radi. Omre`ne pregledovalnike lahko uporabljamo tudi lokalno in so lahko mo~no predstavitveno orodje (zaenkrat za izobra`evalne ustanove zastonj).

Predlog omre`ja izobra`evalnih gradiv

V naslednjih letih lahko pri~akujemo, da bo ve~je {tevilo {ol vzpostavilo svoje lastne omre`ne stre`nike, na katerih bodo ponudile drugim uporabnikom lastna izobra`evalna gradiva. Poleg tega so/bodo vzpostavljeni omre`ni stre`niki tudi na posameznih fakultetah in drugih ustanovah povezanih z izobra`evanjem. Zato je `e sedaj smiselno za~eti razmi{ljati o organizaciji Omre`ja izobra`evalnih gradiv, ki naj zagotovi dostopnost posameznih stre`nikov in gradiv na njih.

Pri pripravi tega omre`ja se mi zdi potrebno upo{tevati naslednja vodila:

Organizacijo omre`ja si zami{ljam v dveh plasteh. Vrhnjo plast sestavlja manj{e {tevilo vstopnih stre`nikov, ki poznajo stanje v omre`ju in uporabnika usmerijo na iskani stre`nik/gradivo. Vstopni stre`niki so enakovredni - razpolagajo z isto informacijo o omre`ju. To zagotavlja: Spodnjo plast sestavljajo vsi ostali stre`niki in pregledovalniki.

Omre`je mora zagotoviti enostaven dostop do `elenih gradiv. To lahko omogo~imo z uvedbo raznih kazal z ustrezno programsko podporo.
