Chikio Hayashi Awards Program (CHA)
Procedure for application and nomination
The IFCS (International Federation of
Classification Societies) provides awards to
single persons in the framework of its Chikio
Hayashi Awards Program (CHA). Awards are given to
promising researchers who started contributing to
the domains of classification, data analysis and
related areas, and who are in the early stages of
their professional careers, as a support for
attending an IFCS conference. Candidates shall be
under the age of 35 years at the time of the
conference. The award is a cash payment to a
candidate who attends the IFCS conference and may
be used for travel, accommodation, and conference costs.
