Aims of the MeetingThe IFCS 2006 Conference: Data Science and Classification is scheduled for July 25-29, 2006, with short courses to be held July 25. The Slovenian Statistical Society and Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana will host the meeting at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The IFCS 06 Conference is sponsored by the
International Federation of Classification Societies (IFCS).
It provides an interdisciplinary forum for social scientists, biologists, mathematicians,
computer scientists, ethnologists and all others interested in data analysis and classification.
Conference sessions allow individuals interested in theory,
methods or applications of data analysis or classification
to share ideas and explore common interests.
